Since 2006, many organizations and volunteers worked together with the Newport Township Community Organization to participate in the nation's largest community improvement program.

• When: From March 1 through May 31

•  What: Cleanup, fix-up, paint-up, green-up to help keep our community beautiful. Activities can include litter cleanups; litter-free events, school and community playground/park cleanup, renovation or construction; any type of community beautification (e.g. Adopt-A-Spot); roadway cleanup and beautification; reduce, reuse, recycle activities/education; water and stream cleanups;  and much more.

• The Newport Township Community Organization will hold its 5th Annual Fall Festival Saturday, October 11th from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Holy Child Grove, Sheatown.

  •  To volunteer your time, have a table, or give a donation contact Carolyn 735-3991.

    •  25 trophies will be awarded

    •  Judging will be by Registered Participants

    •  All motorized vehicles welcome & must have fire extinguishers

    •  Registration 9:00 am to 12:00 pm $10 per entry

    •  Ballots must be returned by 2:00 pm

    •  Trophy presentation at 3:00 pm

    1. Free Hay Rides, Face Painting, Entertainment.

    2. No Class Car Show

    3. Drug Task Force.

    4. Safety information provided by our Local Fire, Police, and Ambulance members.
