The Bus Stop Cafe on the Square in Nanticoke
at 2 E. Broad Street has accepted an array of twenty historical pictures
from the Newport Township Community Organization which are on display
throughout the restaurant for public viewing. Proprietors Eli and
Susie Panagakos have even absorbed the cost of framing the photographs
which depict people, historical sites now gone forever, and current sites of
importance to Newport Township. Our readers are encouraged to visit
the Bus Stop Cafe and observe these captioned pictures, which have been
featured in our annual calendar, and reminisce about "old times" over
breakfast and lunch.
