Attendees:
President, Stephen Phillips called the meeting to order on the above date and time then proceeded to follow the order of business.
Secretary, Palmira Miller read the minutes from the previous meeting held November 28, 2006. Carol moved that the minutes be approved as read and placed on file. Teena seconded the motion with all members present voting in the affirmative.
No Treasurers Report: · Steve Masakowski is caring for ill family members.
No Bills or Communications.
No 1st Vice President’s Report.
No 2nd Vice President’s Report: · Members expressed their best wishes to Tom Kashatus.
Publicity Chairman, John Jarecki reports: 1. The Tea Party article was published on Sunday in the Times Leader and the Citizens Voice. 2. For the Winter Newsletter: o Office Max will print on Thursday. o Help is needed for distribution on Monday. o Murph will take this newsletter to Offset Paperback for a sample print.
Committee Reports: · No Recreation report. · Joe Maloney will chair the Christmas Decoration Contest. · Heidi reports, 9 license plate covers are left. In January members will discuss ordering 200 more.
No Trustees report.
Old Business · Palmira spoke of the COALS Summit held at LCCC. · Members discussed the need to plan for a better community.
New Business · The manager at Old Country Buffet called. They are looking for Christmas gifts & toys for tomorrow.
Good of the Organization · By unanimous consent the Board authorized a fruit basket be sent to our 1st Vice President and Commissioner Tom Kashatus.
Our next meeting is January 9, 2007, at 6:30PM, Knights of Columbus, Glen Lyon.
Murph made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Heidi seconded the motion. Meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm.
