 Training:

Driver training conducted, see attached report for authorized drivers.

Conducted a HazMat Awareness class, with State Certification (this means successful participants will receive a state license and id number) this class included 20 of our members, and 20 from several surrounding departments.

On Feb. 24 we will be hosting a Building Collapse I and a RIT C class.

 Other Activities:

We received the hydrant markers, purchased by a donation from Lions Club, and money raised by the fire companies.

They will be installed on certain fire hydrants throughout the township. They will serve as a marked so the hydrants can be found quickly in an emergency.

On March 3, 5pm we will be holding a “Night at the Races” with proceeds going to equipment fund. $15.00 per person gets horse, food and beverage.

 Request for additional Apparatus Operators:

I would like to submit a list of potential apparatus operators, providing they are sanctioned by the Driver’s Association, I would like to start training them as soon as possible.

4. Leroy Hagenbaugh, (Wilkes-Barre)

5. Tom Gernhart
