President Stephen Phillips called the meeting to order on the above date and time.  He read a report on Organization activities in 2007, which included our participation in the abandoned building demolition program and the Great Pennsylvania Cleanup, our recreation program for children, election forum for Township Commissioner candidates, contributions to the Township Police Department, Five Point program for community improvement, Fall Festival, and our invited speaker program.

 

Treasurer, Steve Masakowski read and presented the annual financial report.

·         Our projected budget for 2008 includes total income of $7825 and total expenses of $6585.

·         As of December 31, 2007 we had total assets of $6581.50 and 99 memberships.

·         During 2007, we had total revenue of $6276.20 and total expenses of $5132.28.

·         Our largest revenue source was the Fall Festival, bringing in $2176 and a net profit of $1302.

·         Our largest expense was the newsletter printing cost of $1610.61 and second largest was the Fall Festival at $873.65.

·         We received $1536 in monetary donations.

 

Bill Hourigan was appointed temporary chairman.  He opened the nomination process for officers.  Murph nominated all current officers as nominees for the offices in which they now serve. All members present voted in the affirmative for the nominees.
