President, Stephen Phillips called the meeting to order on the above date and time.  He spoke about the success of the forum.  A lot of positive comments were made.  It takes a special person to put your self out for questioning as the candidates did.  Everyone made it a success; the voters have spoken; now we need to forge forward.

Secretary, Palmira Miller read the minutes from the previous meeting held May 8, 2007.  Heidi moved that the minutes be approved as read and placed on file.  Carol seconded the motion with all members present voting in the affirmative.

Treasurer, Steve Masakowski read and presented the treasurers report.

·         The Coal Street Playground was discussed.  It was brought to Tom’s attention that Mr. Perrone of the GNA School District is in the process of getting paperwork together to hand the park over to the Township Commissioners, which in turn can do what they want with it.  This was discussed at the last activity board meeting the Coal Street Park would be sold and the money received be spent for the Wanamie Park.  Murph does not agree with the sale of this park.
