·         Today I came to this meeting as a sick pup, being very upset of the negative statements made, at September 20ths work session by our Township Commissioners.

1.       Pertaining to this organization as “You and Your Group” and

2.       Stating Code Enforcement having no problems and being better than it has ever been.

I do not feel the same way as other Board members.  I will continue to make the motion to reactivate the Recreation Board.  I will continue to do what I feel is right in order to improve our Township.

o        Stephen P. spoke of how this organization came together two (2) years ago to work for the good of the Township.  Also the importance of allocating money in the Township’s budget for recreation.

o        Murph spoke of his research to obtain grant money available for recreation to Municipalities.  He reports he has his hand full and will continue to work on recreational events.

·         Tom and members discussed the Regionalization of Police Forces.  What we have now are all part time officers with one full time Chief.  The end result of Regionalization may give us a better trained police force with higher taxes.  Last week we had three (3) drug busts in the Township.  The Regionalization meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of the month at LCCC in the Educational Conference Center Room 130 at 7 PM and are open to the public.  Anyone wishing to attend or has questions can contact Tom.
